NJSTA New Jersey Science Teachers' Association...A great resource for both elementary and secondary science teachers. Their three day conference is one of the best in the state!
   
NJ DOE New Jersey Department of Education page. New Jersey Core Curriculum Standards, a list of approved vendors for all kinds of teacher inservice, information about the new 100 hour inservice requirement for teachers, and requirements for certification can be found here.

SSI Space Studies Institute - Cool pictures from Space!
   
Hubble Site Lots of pictures and information from the Hubble Space Telescope. Also includes EDU Space, the Space Telescope Science Institute's Office of Public Outreach Education Group supports astronomy and space science education for grades K-12. There's even a Fun & Games page!
   
SLF Spacelink Learning Foundation - a UK-registered Charity who wish to teach and learn through the excitement of the medium of outer space.
   
NASA Kids Very cool interactive games, stories, and space pictures. Make sure to check out the Mars Lander and Galaxy Concentration games.

NSF National Science Foundation - Provides fellowships, awards and grants for teachers all over the country. Check out the PAEMST - Presidential Award for Excellence in Teaching Math and Science. It's a way cool vacation!

NASA EPO Education and Public Outreach Program - Sonoma State University supports several different NASA Space Science missions,  and are currently developing an online college curriculum in Cosmology. Their mission is to develop exciting formal and informal educational materials that use high-energy space science as a means to inspire students in grades 5-14 to pursue STEM careers, to train teachers nation-wide in the classroom use of these materials, and to enhance science literacy for the general public.
   
   
Elementary Science Websites
Cells Alive CELLS alive! represents 30 years of capturing film and computer-enhanced images of living cells and organisms for education and medical research. The site has been available continuously and updated annually since May of 1994 and now hosts over 4 million visitors a year.
   
Internet 4 classrooms A collaborative effort created by teachers to extend assistance to fellow teachers. A free web portal designed to assist anyone who wants to find high-quality, free Internet resources to use in classroom instruction, developing project ideas, reinforcing specific subject matter areas both in the class and at home and even for online technology tutorials.
